We are excited about our expanded offers for summer training. Last summer was a new experience for all of us. What we found however was that the goalies felt they improved more because of the targetted training. This summer we will be stepping up our game to ensure that our student's development comtinues with the same trajectory as last summer. Each student will also receive a lite version of our services as part of their training.
Refund Policy: Due to the cost structure of Summer Training . No refunds will be given after June 1rst. If you have a viable medical reason for absence then you will receive credit for Puckstoppers in season services.
A small invite-only group of goalies will be asked to support the Dynamic Skating Group at Merrimack College. This group will be combined with Dynamic Skating's top group of College and Pro skaters. The group will run on Tuesday/Thursday/Friday and goalies will skate either 1, 2 or 3 days.
Following our highly successful model from last summer we are once again going to be offering private lessons in our Manchester and Exeter facilities. Lessons will be private half-hour but this summer we will be adding off-ice training, mental training and nutritional information. Lessons will be either Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays.

This camp will be a combination of on-ice sessions and private lessons. The 8 week program will be split between on ice groupings and private lessons. The on-ice sessions will be 80 minutes in length and will be on Mondays and Wednesdays when they occur. Goalies will schedule their off-ice lessons accordingly. This training will provide total goalie training focusing on all pillars of a goalie development.
This is the first of its kind in New England. I have been a pioneer of the mental game for goalies for nearly 30 years. Our approach is three step in nature. With today's rushed culture many try to go right for the end game. For example how I do overcome a bad game. Some think if I squirt a water bottle like Brayden Holtby I will play like him and that is his mental game. Our approach builds from the ground up. All the techniques in the world will not help if you do not have an understanding of yourself. You need to know how your brain functions and how to regulate your emotions off the field before you can think about regulating them on the field. I will teach you all of this. Using my three step approach you will be able to raise the level of your play but have better control of your day and experience a new level of confidence and a new approach to how you handle competition. Many of you will be doing showcases over the summer so how much time are you going to spend mentally preparing for those. Just doing your pre-game preparation is not enough. EVEN IF YOU ARE GREAT IN SCHOOL , WELL SPOKEN AND COMPETITIVE THIS DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU HAVE A STRONG MENTAL GAME. EVEN IF YOUR COACH SAYS YOU ARE STRONG MENTALLY I CAN GUARANTEE THAT I CAN MAKE YOU EVEN BETTER. I have worked with many goalies that were great physically but broke down mentally and never achieved their true potential. The camp is a series of video conferences coupled with a group meeting. The camp material will all be recorded in case you happen to miss something through the power of technology you won't miss any valuable information. You will receive 2 private sessions with me and there will be 5 group sessions. There are also workbooks and program videos that will help improve the inner workings of your mental game.
