Matt recently entered into a partnership agreement with Puckstoppers Goaltending and will handle the Cape Cod area. Matt has played at every level except the NHL so he brings a broad and knowledgeable perspective to his teaching. Matt currently is the goalie coach for Tabor academy and a goalie consultant for the Cape Cod Bluefins professional team in the Federal Hockey League (single A professional). He has served as an instructor for Puckstoppers President Rob Day for several years at his summer camps and was a past student of Rob for 5 years. Matt played Junior Hockey for the EJHL CD Selects, from there he went to Merrimack College as a walk-on. He then he transferred to UMass-Boston and started there for a year. He then found the right situation after transferring to Gustavas Adolphus. He ended up leading the Gusties to the NCAA D3 title game against Neumann College. His stats during the NCAA tournament were an amazing.
Matt then pursued a professional career on the FHL, CHL and ECHL. He was then called up to the Manchester Monarchs (AHL) and in a relief appearance stopped 42 of 43 shots in a win against the Lowell Devils.
Matt is also a speaker for USA Hockey and we are excited about our partnership with him.
